Photo Shoot At Murlough Bay ,Newcastle

Well it was a windy overcast day as i set of tho do a second test shoot with the wonderful Caitlin, i was not sure how things might shape up. We hoped to get some Autumn type shots in Castle Ward, so off we headed towards Strangford. Well the gardeners were pretty much on the ball because almost all the leaves that normally blanket the ground were completely removed !!! so we improvised with a few ares that were still looking pretty, the first few shots as always are slow to get right but as i suspected Caitlin was just posing so easy all i was left to do was really find my settings and start to shoot,

A nice start with these few.
the the bench was lurking in the background so i grabbed that for a few easy close up's.

We decided to head for the Coffee shop to have a chat about some ideas for themed shoots and os we walked i thought the Avenue of trees would be a nice backdrop for a couple of shots.
Before we left i thought a few shots in the courtyard of Castle ward was a must such beautiful settings and backdrops. Always good to have we at Red River Studios love our natural settings !!

not sure where to go as i was a bit thrown by the fact that we were not getting any light at all so we decided to head for Murlough Bay, a beautiful stretch of sand dunes just north of Newcastle Co Down , A bit of a walk with the camera gear and light stands but worth every minute !!!!
the view of Slieve Donard in the back ground and the small gaps opening in the clouds was just perfect had to work quick but was so buzzed by the images i was getting , and as always Caitlin was making life so easy for me only here second shoot ever and she was falling into poses so naturally !!! i could not believe how easy it was to photograph her !!!!

As always a week or so on now and i have just edited a few more in black and white to finish them off, really enjoyed the shoot and looking forward to a fantastic vintage shoot planned for early January !!!
